Look, it wasn't until 2016 that research on athletic women over 40 even existed!
I got started in the world of cycling in 2002, but it wasn't until 2019 that I learned none of us knew anything about perimenopause and training for endurance sports.
I knew I needed more information about how to tweak training for optimal performance as a woman over 40 who deals with an enormous amount of fatigue, but I didn’t know anything about it.
As a former lab researcher with a background in science and human anatomy, I started learning everything I could get my hands on, applying it and figuring out what worked and what didn’t.
I've been a cycling coach for 15+ years, and all the things I'm talking about are also the same way I trained for my big, hairy, audacious cycling goals.
It was directly responsible for bringing me a world championship medal in 2023, and place top 5 in all my events at UCI Masters World Championships in 2024.
Since 2020 I’ve coached over 125 women cyclists in this way too, helping them achieve cycling dreams, and changed their lives and what’s possible for them along the way.
So if you’re an over 40 woman cyclist and are ready to unleash the BEST of yourself and climb stronger and ride farther, faster… start listening today!
I’m a Cycling Coach and Personal Trainer for 40+ women, I'm 46, and I just wrapped up my 17th season of racing bikes all over the world.
I’m on a mission to help 1,000 women cyclists over 40 climb stronger, ride farther, faster while creating more energy to ride back to back days so you can set new personal records, unleash your very BEST and change your definition of what’s possible.
(That's me with my UCI World Championship medal in 2023 over there--->)
Through the private podcast - the Cycling Success System Podcast, masterclasses, the Cycling Success System, and Level Up 1:1 Cycling Coaching, I’m here to help you navigate the 36 symptoms of menopause at any given time while still achieving your cycling dreams!
Here's the results my athletes are getting right now:
✨ a busy working professional in the 55-59 age group qualified for Senior Games after improving her FTP by 40 watts
✨ a busy collegiate professor who landed on a podium "by accident" and also improved her race speeds by 4mph.
✨ a doctor working lots of hours in the 60+ age group, and I coached her through asthma, and navigating stress and fatigue to tackle the northern part of the Tour Divide, she then went on to travel NZ, Puget Sound and more.
✨ a busy online professional who decided at 50+ to fulfill a bucket list trip riding from Paris to Istanbul. She went from newbie to riding 50-125K daily, outdoors, 36 days in a row. She came home a changed woman, ready to embrace her inner bike racer and I’m helping coach her into gravel racing at Unbound Gravel.
I believe that love is love, Black lives matter, Transwomen are women and belong in sports, no human is illegal, and bikes are a form of therapy.
I’d love to be your cycling coach and help you achieve your cycling dreams and goals this year too!
